Big Show vow: To hurt Mayweather 'after Marquez cleans your clock'

What is this, a huge wrestler trying to take away Manny Pacquiao's job?

The Big Show threatened to destroy Floyd Mayweather "after Marquez cleans your clock. (Chris) Jericho and I will take what's left of you
and wipe you off the face of the earth."

Hey, it was in harmless fun.

Unfortunately for The Big Show and Jericho, they then got whupped badly by World's Strongest Man Mark Henry and MVP. It was Mayweather's verbal guidance which led them to this amazing victory (yeah, right).

They also had a six diva (female) tag team match. And the guest host on Monday Night Raw’s visit to Las Vegas was local diva Mayweather,

So they called that match “a Mayweather Melee.”

And thus there were seven divas in the house.

Finally, the nearly dead Marquez-Mayweather Sept. 19 PPV TV bout was given some oxygen, some publicity, some flair.

The other theme besides Mayweather’s well scripted fakery was Mr. Vince McMahon’s 64th birthday tribute.

They hardly flipped the Mayweather script, referring to him as the world’s best boxer.

He might be in the parts of the world not occupied by Pacquiao.

“I’m a boxer, a promoter, the big money getter,” Mayweather boasted in taped piece which precded his arrival.

Hearing that there had to be some briefcase toting Internal Revenue Service money collectors in the house.

Mayweather is forcibly handing over most of his Marquez bout purse to the tax man as part of a $6 million lien posted against him.

As for the other rassling gimmick of the glitzy show, Mr. McMahon teamed up with his supposed enemies DX in a no DQ six man tag team bout.

Big Show warned that he had a score to settle with Mayweather's "sorry self" and then, on cue, Mayweather and his motley entourage showed up in the arena.

Jeez, I wonder how that happened. Amazing coincidence, eh?

Do you guys think this drives any boxing PPV buys? I suppose it couldn't hurt the on life support promotion that is Marquez-Mayweather.
