You're kidding, right? Zab Judah on the Sept. 19 Mayweather vs. Marquez card

Can somebody explain to me why "Zero" Zab Judah has been added to the September 19th card headlined by Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Juan Manuel Marquez?

Who does Judah, a brooding drama queen, appeal to?

This card already seems plagued by problems so why add public problem number one Zab Judah? Judah can't hang with the top fighters anymore.

When he feels stressed or over matched, which has become often and lately, he instigates a riot, either in the ring to get himself disqualified or in the casino endangering the public.

This guy actually made Floyd seem mild and gentle and garnering public compassion when Judah nailed him with a low blow during their exhibition a while back and uncle Roger foolishly took the bait to step in the ring.

Can you imagine that? The public was feeling sorry for Floyd! Only Judah can do that. Maybe it's his one talent. Because he can't fight anymore.

Does Golden Boy Promotions believe it needs to tap into the hoodlum / punk market to sell some extra tickets or PPV subscriptions?

Why doesn't Hall of Fame promoter Don Chargin consult with them anymore?

I'm so down on this Golden Boy move I can't contain myself. I know Don King and Bob Arum, along with others, have enjoyed the charms of Judah in the ring to gobble up airtime and instill this very drama, but this is a serious game of Russian Roulette and this is finally going to come to a head and I just say "Golden Boy beware."

The public is tired of this and Golden Boy doesn't get it or is in serious denial.

I believe it was a smart move, and many in the industry agree, that Golden Boy made a strategic move by pulling the fight out of the dead of summer and to a more promising mid September date because viewership is simply down in summertime.

But this move, to further belabor the point, is on a card that people are apparently shying away from anyway, so why look for trouble?
